About five years ago, we looked around at the sports we loved and noticed something: hardly anyone out there was over 40. Mountain biking — we're looking at you. It got us thinking. Does what we're doing now actually support longevity? We feel young today, but how will our bodies feel in fifteen years?
So began a feverish obsession. Over time we found our way into the sport that delivered the wellness we were chasing, and started racing triathlon. Even then, every season became a bigger bet on staying strong for the long game.
Sobi Ball was born deep in one of those seasons. Moving into our 30s, our hips were perpetually sore and our range of motion kept shrinking right as we felt like we were hitting our stride. So we built the fix we couldn't find: a precision-weighted ball and a five-minute routine for the muscles you're ignoring today, but will rely on before you know it.
Melvin
Melvin had strong early opinions about who the ball really belonged to. It took a few days to talk him out of them — but once he came around, he found a higher calling: head supervisor of every floor session, and living proof that a routine well done earns a walk.
